Who am I ?


I’m Gilles, a passionate, independent HR advisor and multi entrepreneur. I have been delivering HR Technology and Services projects for over 20 years. I speak fluent Dutch, English, German and French with extensive experience  in the pharmaceutical, finance and professional services business.


During the course of my career, I have seen many companies struggling to deliver great HR Services to their employees despite implementing new, shiny systems. After winning multiple awards and selling my HR consulting business for more than 7 figures, I have been focused on advising and coaching mid sized companies in improving their HR service delivery by establishing simple, holistic and actionable roadmaps to ultimately create a great employee experience.

Global Investment Bank with 500+ employees.


An incoming Head of HR was tasked to establish a global HR function across the different countries and offices to ensure consistent HR service delivery, align performance and compensation, improve international collaboration and cross country talent development.

Based on this high level vision, we developed a roadmap and a business case and multi year budget. In parallel we defined the HR service delivery and staffing model and aligned key processes.

Afterwards, I accompanied the client in the execution of the roadmap in a coaching and advisory capacity. The roadmap was partially delivered with internal people and partially with external vendors.

Pharmaceutical company with 12.000 going to 18.000 employees.

Initially hired in a crisis management capacity for a botched global HR systems implementation, I quickly re-baselined and re-budgeted the project for initial delivery.

In a 8-week timeframe, as preparation of the phase 2, I turned the pure systems implementation into a larger HR transformation, transitioning from a local HR model to a global business partner model with 3 global shared service centers delivering upon global processes and 3 main global HR systems with a globally outsourced payroll.

I managed the 10m+ EUR program over a 3 year period, on time and on budget while incorporating several acquisitions moving the total number of employees from 12.000 to 18.000.
